THE ALMÉ KNOW-HOW

Today, Emmanuelle shares her textile know-how with you, as well as our entire creation and production process.

STEP 1

The style team makes its first sketches and designs, before sending technical sheets to our workshop. These documents provide technical details, from the development to the manufacturing of the pieces.

STEP 2

The choice of the material is an essential step. The material will affect the cut, the fall and especially the comfort. Each cut is thought according to the chosen material.

STEP 3

Once the material is validated, multiple colors are available to us! We choose the perfect colors on a pantioner, or ranges. Emmanuelle's sharp eye detects the nuances of your future favorite pieces.

STEP 4

The development of the pattern is one of the most important phases. Our sketches are made and the magic happens... the pattern represents the skeleton of a piece, broken down and quantified. We start with a reference size to develop the other sizes.

STEP 5

Receiving the first prototypes is always a moment filled with satisfaction. Then it's time for the fitting phase on several morphologies: our model makers bring their last modifications for perfect pieces.

STEP 6

Once the pattern is validated, let's move on to cutting the fabrics. The fabrics are "matted", which means that they are assembled in order to cut several pieces at the same time, and thus rationalize the material.

STEP 7

Once the production is launched, we take some samples (also called "prod picking") in order to measure and make final checks.

STEP 8

Picking prod validated: a last step of control is carried out by our pattern maker in order to check that our workshop has respected the comments and measurements of the pattern.

STEP 9

The finished and controlled parts: we now come to the labeling of each part and packaging in polybag.

STEP 10

Last but not least: to see our creations finally sublimate your curves & give you a dose of self-confidence!

INCLUSIVE DESIGN

"It is to repair this injustice that I created Almé, a feminine and inclusive brand that offers a wide choice of sizes, from 36 to 54. "
